About Us.
Long before Savannah Howard and Kim Mayfield joined forces as Howard & Mayfield Group in 2022, they had both already forged successful careers as entrepreneurs and business women. Kim, a Mississippi native, worked alongside her husband in a family business for many years. In 2019 their love for outdoors lead to their move to mountains. She had already fallen in love with the area from increasingly frequent visits to their family’s vacation home, and after moving here full time she decided to share that love with others through real estate. Savannah grew up in the North Georgia area, loved it just as much as Kim, and having spent eighteen professional years in customer service, she decided to put those skills to use representing clients buying and selling where she had always lived.
After making initial contact with one another through their mutual love of horses, Savannah and Kim met face-to-face at the Blairsville RE/MAX office and became instant friends. They saw in each other the same commitment to professional excellence, but they also both shared a deep commitment to their families. They had both worked very hard, and made numerous personal sacrifices to achieve work-life balance. Somehow, they both had achieved professional success without compromising their home life. Kim, a mother of three, and Savannah, a mother of two, had seemingly done the impossible, but they recognized that scaling their successes would take teamwork.
It was only natural then, given their similar backgrounds, work ethics, goals, and values, that they would partner up. Indeed, it was clear to both of them almost immediately that they could do far more together than apart. And that initial promise has become an evident reality. Howard & Mayfield Group can now offer the same personal and professional real estate service that Kim and Savannah spent years perfecting to an expanding number of clients throughout the Appalachian Foothills—from Northeast Georgia to North Carolina.
